opening Saturday February 14, 2015 - 6 pm
After the success of the preview in the beautiful setting of Palazzo Isolani in Bologna, Francesca Galliani's show continues in Galleria d'Arte Maggiore's exhibition space in Via d'Azeglio. The central idea is "Transformation". The show draws a path that starts with a homage to her city, New York, (the geographical variation of the theme), and leads the visitors to a human dimension, touching up-to- date social issues, such as violence against women and transgender rights.
by Fabiola Naldi
"The temporal, phyisical and spatial suspension of Giorgio Morandi "naturally" meets the color, the light and the shape both of the place hosting the exhibition and of the interpretation by Spalletti".

Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art, London
It is the first major exhibition in the United Kingdom to focus on the career of this important artist for almost twenty years, offering the opportunity to explore the work of a pivotal figure in modern Italian culture, and consider some of the questions it raises concerning the role of the artist – and of art itself – in modern society.
