After important exhibitions during the most recent editions of the Venice Biennale, Roberto Sebastian Matta returns to Galleria d'Arte Maggiore g.a.m. with a new show in its venue in Bologna. The paintings, the mixed media and the sculptures made in bronze selected by Franco and Roberta Calarota give a complete portrait of an artist who deeply and repeatedly revolutionized the international artistic scene he entered in contact with, absorbing the different cultures he met on his way.

Galleria d'Arte Maggiore g.a.m. invites you to discover the exhibition “Post Zang Tumb Tuuum. Art Life Politcs: Italia 1918 - 1943” curated by Germano Celant at Fondazione Prada. Among the reconstruction of the original shows, give a closer look at the rooms dedicated to Giorgio Morandi and to the Futurists exhibitions at the 3rd Roma Biennale in 1925 where Giacomo Balla has presented “CanarinGatti - Gatti Futuristi” (1923/24): a joyful artwork conceived as a colorful roll film where a cat tries to chase a songbird, originally made for the bedroom of Tommaso Marinetti ‘s daughter.
