As the end of 2018 approaches, Galleria d'Arte Maggiore g.a.m. has saved for last the major exhibition of its designed plan to celebrate its first forty years of activity. For this important goal, the gallery director Alessia Calarota curates a considerable Giorgio Morandi retrospective in the historical location of the gallery. Giorgio Morandi was immediately followed and supported with great attention by the founders Franco and Roberta Calarota and he is the painter who better embodies the promotion of the major artists from the XX century carried on by the gallery worldwide.

Galleria d'Arte Maggiore g.a.m. invites you to discover the exhibition “Post Zang Tumb Tuuum. Art Life Politcs: Italia 1918 - 1943” curated by Germano Celant at Fondazione Prada. Among the reconstruction of the original shows, give a closer look at the rooms dedicated to Giorgio Morandi and to the Futurists exhibitions at the 3rd Roma Biennale in 1925 where Giacomo Balla has presented “CanarinGatti - Gatti Futuristi” (1923/24): a joyful artwork conceived as a colorful roll film where a cat tries to chase a songbird, originally made for the bedroom of Tommaso Marinetti ‘s daughter.
