The volume accompanies the exhibition held at ACP Palazzo Franchetti by Fondazione Calarota in Venice in 2019 in collaboration with Fondation Dubuffet.
Dubuffet's relationship with Venice is higlhy eccentric. At three separate times in his life the artist turned to the features of this "floating city" to convey to the world a precise reflection of his thoughts and the exhibtion and its catalogue aim to highlight the ambivalent relationship Dubuffet had with Venice.
