From 15 November 2024 to 2 March 2025 the Institut Giacometti in Paris hosts the exhibition Giacometti / Morandi. Moments immobiles, curated by Françoise Cohen, in collaboration with the Morandi Museum | Settore Musei Civici Bologna,
After 25 years from the exhibition Alberto Giacometti. Drawings, sculptures and graphic works, held at the Morandi Museum, this exhibition brings together for the first time the works of two major post-war artists. Although Alberto Giacometti (1901-1966) and Giorgio Morandi (1890-1964) were contemporaries, they never crossed paths, yet there are many essential similarities between them, that this exhibition aims to highlight.
