Chiostro del Bramante, Rome
The Chiostro del Bramante celebrates its 20 years of activity with an international exhibition curated by Danilo Eccher.
An absolute novelty and unmissable in the panorama of cultural proposals in the capital in recent years that aims to bring the city of Rome back in line with the same levels of the most esteemed international exhibition realities. For the first time, some of the most important artists of contemporary art will be brought together, such as Yayoi Kusama, Tom Wesselmann, Andy Warhol, Robert Indiana, Gilbert & George, Francesco Vezzoli, Tracey Emin, Marc Quinn, Francesco Clemente and Joana Vasconcelos, with works with highly experiential languages (All the Eternal Love I Have for the Pumpkins by Kusama among the most Instagrammed in the world) and suitable for involving the public through multiple solicitations.
ART MEETS LOVE.
The Roman exhibition intends to address one of the universally recognized feelings that has always been a source of investigation and representation, Love, by recounting its different facets and its infinite declinations. A happy, expected, misunderstood, hated, ambiguous, transgressive, infantile love, which unfolds along an unconventional exhibition path, characterized by visual and perceptive inputs.
LOVE GOES BEYOND THE CONCEPT OF A MUSEUM.
The true protagonist of the exhibition is the public that reclaims the exhibition spaces, becoming both a user and a disseminator at the same time, having the possibility of freely photographing all the works on display (official hashtag #chiostrolove). A 360° sensorial involvement characterizes the museum experience, embracing the concept of 'open access' and a museum in continuous evolution.
