For our participation to Art Gèneve we propose the homage dedicated to Giorgio Morandi made by the duo Bertozzi & Casoni in the exhibition "Less is more, Bertozzi & Casoni, Giorgio Morandi," now on view at Maggiore g.a.m. in Bologna until May 31, 2022. Bertozzi & Casoni's first d'aprés Morandi have been realized in 2019 on the occasion of the exhibition "Eulougy to fake flowers" at the Morandi Museum. In these works by Bertozzi & Casoni not only the palette turns from bright to pastel, but their investigation into vanitas, memento mori and transience, which has always been conducted through snapshots of flora and fauna and the leftovers of consumer civilization, involves Morandi's flowers with unexpected outcomes.
In addition, we are going to present the sculpture "Rampante", an assemblage of Ferrari F40 inspired by Arman's monument at the Dino and Enzo Ferrari racetrack in Imola; the works by Massimo Campigli, protagonist of the dialogue with Etruscan art during the show (now closed) at Art Capital Partners - Palazzo Franchetti in Venice; an iconic work by Giorgio de Chirico, Amor by Robert Indiana and among others: Sandro Chia, Antoni Clavé, Paul Delvaux, Piero Dorazio, Sam Francis, Roberto Sebastian Matta, Mattia Moreni, Gino Severini.
